Homer A. Fultz, 79, of Middletown, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Otterbein of Middletown. He was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on December 28, 1933 to parents Alex and Corda (Blair) Fultz.
Homer worked as a bonding specialist for Aeronca Inc. for over 40 years, retiring in 1995. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He loved spending his time with grandchildren and tending to his beloved garden.
Mr. Fultz is survived by his son, David (Robin) Fultz; daughter, Shelley (Jeep) Pontius; and grandchildren, Alec & Aidan Fultz & Caroline Pontius.
Homer was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Fultz; parents; & brothers, Eugene Fultz, James Fultz, Stanley Fultz & Alex Fultz.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice of Miami Valley and the staff of Otterbein of Middletown, especially Nicky Helsinger, Charlene Federer, Latonya Merrida, Nickie Sparkman, Jessica Tincher, Terri Richardson, Fritz Sunberg, Kelley Carter, Sarah Voelkerding & Zona Taylor for their care & love.
There will be a gathering of family & friends on January 4, 2014 from 11:00 - 12:30 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
