Howard Pulver Espenmiller, 88, of Middletown, Ohio, died on November 5, 2005, at McKnight Terrace. He was born in Newark, New York on December 25, 1916 to parents Charles and Bell (Pulver) Espenmiller.
Mr Espenmiller served in the United States Army, and was a graduate of Syracuse University earning a Paper and Pulp Engineering Degree in 1940. In 1960, while working for Black Clawson in Fulton New York, Mr. Espenmiller transferred to Middletown where he remained a vital part of the company for 30 years. After retirement he remained a consultant for Black Clawson. He was a charter member of the Lion´s Club, VFW post #3809, and served as a Deacon at the Fist Presbyterian Church in Middletown.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents .
He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Beatrice (Bender) Espenmiller; Precious father to three daughters: Diane (David) Aspinall of Fayettville, NC, Joyce (James) Felske of Buffalo, NY, Mary Lou (Doug) Shockley of Middletown, OH. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Michelle (Brett) Howard, Ellen G. Aspinall, Andrew D. Aspinall, Jonathan D. Felske, Jenny (James) Felske Dedis, Brad (Jill) Osborne, Jonathan (Christine) Osborne; and three great grandchildren. His beloved sister Ruth Werts still lives in Newark, NY.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 4:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 2-4 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd.(at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, OH
