Howard Wells Jr.

Howard Wells, Jr., 89, of Liberty Township, died Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.  He was born in Lebanon on April 30, 1928 to parents Howard and Ruth (Corlis) Wells Sr. 

Howard worked as a union organizer in the paper industry.  He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Korea, and was paymaster for the Marine Corps Auxiliary in Cincinnati.   

Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Delene Edwards Wells; children, Kim Michael Wells, Kevin Dale (Debbie Chamberlain-Wells) Wells, Kelly Ray Wells & Jeff (Crystal) Edwards; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Stephanie Wells; parents; and brother, Calvin R. Wells.   

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon.  Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
