Hubert E. Horn, 83, of Middletown, died at Hawthorn Glen on Thursday, June 27, 2002. He was born in Madison County, Kentucky on April 22, 1919 to parents Algin and Rebecca (Tipton) Horn.
Mr. Horn was an army World War II veteran. He worked as a die setter for 33 years for General Motors in Moraine, retiring in 1978.
He is survived by his wife Edith (Wells) Horn, three sons, Tom (Bonnie) Horn of Middletown, Richard (Gail) Horn of Middletown, David (Sharon) Horn of Louisville, Kentucky, a brother, Nelson (Veda) Horn of Middletown, five grandchildren, Mark, Dan, Trevor, Jeff Horn and Stephanie Taulbee and three great grandchildren, Shannon, Kyle & Alex Horn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Bert, James, Walter, Fleming, Leonard and Robert Horn, and five sisters, Mary, Josie, Virgie, Stella & Hazel.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 29, 2002 at 10 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home at 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. with Dr. Edwin Kingsbury officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 6 - 8 PM. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
