Ida Katherine (Napier) O'Harra, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2015, at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg, with loving family sharing her last moments on earth. She was born on November 26, 1928 to parents Oscar and Carolyn V. (Lee) Napier in Hamilton. She graduated from Stewart High School, Oxford. A homemaker for most of her life, after her husband's death, she worked as a greeter at Frisch's restaurant in Middletown, as a teacher's aide at Madison Nursery School and co-taught children's Sunday School at Christ United Methodist Church for many years. Katie had lived at Waterford Retirement Community, Dayton, since April 2014, where she enjoyed the friendship of many of the residents especially her neighbors, Dottie & Durrell, prayer & drama groups and the wonderful staff Laura, Sandy, Heather, Don and others who showed her love & respect. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Middletown and had recently attended St. James United Methodist Church in Miamisburg. Through great personal losses she kept her faith and gave us all an example of how to live by always reaching out to help others.
