Ida L. Hutchinson, 84, of Laurie, Missouri died on Friday, June 20, 2003, at Laurie Care Center. She was born in Menifee County, Kentucky on December 22, 1918 to Oliver and Alpha (Helton) Back.
Ida was an avid bowler and golfer at Holly Hills and Weatherwax, and was a past city champion and had made four holes-in-one during her lifetime. She and her husband retired to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1982 from Middletown. Ida was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, Missouri.
Ida is survived by, one daughter: Peggy (Rob) York of Gravois Mills, MO; one son: Walter (Dora) Hutchinson of Franklin, OH; four grandchildren, Chris (Jill) York of Califon, NJ; Robb (Beth) York of Lake Orion, MI; Mark Hutchinson of Trenton, OH; Joe Hutchinson of Franklin, OH; Aden Cooksey of Franklin, OH; two great grandchildren, Ethan York and Grace York; a sister Ada Craft of Middletown; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Joseph Hutchinson, November 22, 1985, two brothers Walter and William Back and a sister Bernice Greenham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday, June 23, 2003 from 5-7 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
