Ida Mae (Poundstone) Liska was born on December 15, 1927 in Osborne, Ohio. She passed away at home January 17, 2013. Mom grew up in Springfield, Ohio & lived there until she married in 1947. She & Dad moved to Middletown in 1953. Mom was a quiet little lady who loved her family first & foremost. She had many hobbies including crochet & needlework, but being in nature & her flower garden was one of her greatest loves. She truly enjoyed watching her oldest grandchild, Danny, play baseball as a child and later play High School football.
Ida was preceded in death by her father, Carl Poundstone; mother, Pearl "Polly" Steed; step father, G.C. Steed; brother, Carl Poundstone Jr. and her husband of 51 years, Frank Liska.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Michael) Stover & Amy (Gregg) Nicholl, both of Middletown; brother, Bill Crum of Elephant Butte, NM; sister-in-law, Martha Crum of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Danny (Susan) Caudill of Trenton, Sandra, Naomi, Kristen & Mikey Nicholl of Middletown; great grandchildren, Bricen & Jimma Caudill of Trenton; and special niece, Carla Nicely of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
