Irene E. Edwards

Irene E. (Emrick) Edwards, 93, of Madison Township, died Monday, December 18, 2006, at Kensington Place. She was born in Jacktown, Ohio on May 10, 1913 to parents Charles A. and M. Marie (Cooper) Emrick.

Irene worked as an accountant for The Dupps Company, retiring in 1976. She loved cats and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of the Countryside Congregation of Jehovah´s Witness.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn (Ron) Koch of Morrow and Phyllis (Dan) Eby of Germantown; a brother, Harold (Catherine) Emrick; niece, Virginia (Estel) McGhee; a granddaughter, Lora (Aaron) Willis; and two great grandchildren, Eric Willis and Reagan Willis.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Ron Buchanan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 -7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
