Irene Judith Braun

Irene Judith Braun, 82, of Monroe, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Sycamore Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on December 2, 1938 to parents, Leo and Bertha (Long) Smith.

Irene devoted her time to making a loving home for her family and will be greatly missed by her children, Tim (Kimberly) Braun, Tom (Lori) Braun, Todd (Cindy) Braun, Bob (Shirley) Braun & Jenny Braun; sister, Elsie Risner; brother, Donald (Sandra) Smith; grandchildren, Stacy Brown, Jason Braun, Chris Braun, Jeremy Braun, Carly Freeland, Adam Wells, Kyle Braun, Sophia Braun & Evan Braun; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Braun, Sr.; son, Gary Braun; parents; and sisters, Ruth Puckett, Francis Hubbard & Mary Helton.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
