Irene L. Williams

Irene L. Williams, 81, of Middletown, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She was born in Middletown on February 16, 1930, to parents Earl and Lenore (Long) Lindsay.

Irene graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1949 and worked in customer service for First Financial Bank for 27 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of First Christian Church, the Christian Women's Fellowship Esther Circle, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Chi Master Chapter.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Gregory (Angie) Williams of Germantown Hills, Illinois; two grandchildren, Matthew Williams & Rebekah Williams both of Germantown Hills, Illinois; and two sisters, Lois (James) Conrad & Mary Lindsay both of Middletown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on September 2, 2011, parents and brothers, Joe Lindsay & Jim Lindsay.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Laureen Roe officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, 4520 Rosedale Rd., Middletown, Ohio 45042.
