Irene Molnar

Irene Molnar, 94, of Middletown, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Bickford of Middletown.  She was born in Middletown on September 12, 1923 to parents John and Juliana (Szakolczai) Torok.

Irene worked as a medical transcriptionist and with the laboratory at Middletown Regional Hospital for 22 years, retiring in 1986.  She attended Christ United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Molnar is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Jim) Wireman & Carolyn (Tim) Melton; four granddaughters, Erica Melton, Kristina, Julie & Lauren; eleven great grandchildren; and special friend, Carolyn Snook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Geza Molnar in 1994 and her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Norman Coleman III officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
