Ivan Lee Singleton, Sr., 80, of Middletown, died on January 11, 2008, at University Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born in Eubanks, Kentucky on January 25, 1927 to parents Virda and Anna (Young) Singleton.
Ivan served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Singleton was a truck driver, working for Pacific Intermountain Express (PIE) Trucking retiring in the mid 1980s. He then worked as a manager at University Auto Sales in Middletown.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Jane (Smith) Singleton; two daughters: Trudy (James) Thall and Dee Brown and fiancée, Chuck Henry; two sons: Ivan (Mary) Singleton and Gregory (Janet) Singleton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Neal McKinney officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on 10:00 - 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
