Jackie Rouse

Jackie Williams Rouse, 56, of West Elkton-Gifford Road, Somerville, passed away at her home the morning of Jan. 31, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born Jacquelyn LaVonne Williams on July 3, 1958, at Middletown Hospital, she was the daughter of James and Carmon (Pulley) Williams of Trenton.

She was a 1976 graduate of Edgewood High School and studied at Miami University. She had worked at Viking Office Products, Magellan Health Services and Leshner Corp. She and her family had lived on S. First Street in Trenton for many years. Jackie loved her family and friends, gardening, the music of James Taylor & Fleetwood Mac and her dog, Hayden.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Rouse; her daughter, Angela Marie Rouse of Lebanon, and her fiancé, James Friedmann; her son, Christopher David Rouse of Monroe, and his wife, Kayleigh; her brother, Michael Williams of Trenton, and his wife, Connie; three nephews, Tyler Williams (wife Holly) of Dayton, Jake Aldridge of Columbus, and Austin Williams of Fairborn; two nieces, Carley Williams of Monroe and Sarah Williams of Dayton; Shirley Wallace of Dover, Tenn., and other beloved relatives in Tennessee and Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Aldridge, and her brother, David Williams.

Funeral services will be Wednesday February 4th at 11AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, with the Rev. Tyler Williams presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
