James Andrew Welling

James Andrew Welling, 57, of Madison Township, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, at his residence. He was born in Middletown, on August 1, 1950 to John A. and Mitzi (Stahl) Welling.

Mr. Welling worked as a laborer for the Union Hall and for S-K Construction, and retired to the farm in 2000.

James is survived by his daughter, Tashina Welling; son, Sterling Welling; father, John A. Welling; two sisters, Jane Fishbaugh and Jennifer (Charles) Burns; one brother, Jerome (Libby) Welling; his very dear companion, Linda Spencer; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Levon Welling; mother, Mitzi Welling; and brother, John Welling.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father George Klein as celebrant. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:30 - 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Elk Creek Cemetery.
