James E Burgemeir

James E. Burgemeir, 67, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 17, 2013, at West Chester Hospital. He was born in Middletown on November 8, 1946 to parents Carl and Angela (Kramer) Burgemeir.

Jim worked as a heavy equipment operator for Ohio Operating Engineers. He was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Mr. Burgemeir is survived by his sons, James M. (Jodi) Burgemeir, Ronald C. (Nikki) Burgemeir & Jeffrey M. Burgemeir; daughter, Rebecca Christine (Ryan) Ross; sister, Jeanne (Jim) Gray; and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Burgemeir in 2011 and his parents.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Tanase for his care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society, c/o Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark Street, Middletown, OH 45042.
