James E Frentzel, 63, of Monroe, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on March 23, 1949 to parents Edward and Barbara (Frazee) Frentzel.
Jim worked as a mail carrier in Monroe for 26 years, retiring in 2010. He was a volunteer with the Monroe Fire Department, was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and was active with the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch #43.
Mr. Frentzel is survived by his wife, Sharon (Mullin) Frentzel; son, Jason Frentzel; daughter, Melissa (Jeffrey) Elam; brother, David (Sheree) Frentzel and sister, Marsha (Greg) Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe with Father Edward Pratt as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown and Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
