James V. Martz

James V. Martz, 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born in Middletown on July 27, 1948 to parents, Harold and Lois (King) Martz, both of whom preceded him in death.

James was co-owner of Martz Sand & Gravel.

James greatest enjoyment was his family and he will be greatly missed by his soul-mate and companion, Donna Johnson; his son, Jamie (Vicki) Martz; bonus kids, Jamey (Crystal) Johnson & Kelli (Rob) Planck; sisters, Nancy (Roger) Hothem & Sharry (Richard) Sagotsky; nine grandchildren; as well as numerous friends & extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Jamey Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
