James P. King, 81, of Trenton, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Trenton, on June 13, 1923 to parents Dr. Claude W. and Edna (Beiser) King.
Mr. King worked in maintenance for Cincinnati Gas & Electric for over 37 years, retiring in 1985. He served his country in the United States Navy during both World War II and Korea. He was a member of Jefferson Lodge #90 F. & A.M., the Trenton Moose #330, and the Trenton Fire Department.
James is survived by a niece, Ruth Ann King of Trenton; a nephew, Michael King of Lebanon; three great nephews, Charles (Betsy) King of Trenton and Tim (Cathy) King of Cincinnati and David King of Fairfield; great great nieces & nephews, Cody, Cory, & Colby James King, David King, Lyle Faulkner, Tiffany Love, & Dakota King; and great great great nephew, Darrin King;
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth S. King; his parents; a brother, Robert C. King; a brother-in-law, Harvey A. Seeman; and a nephew, Robert J. King.
A private graveside funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family Miltonville Cemetery with Chaplain Galen Hoffman officiating.
