James W. Aldridge

James W. Aldridge, 79, of Middletown, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on July 4, 1931 to parents Chester and Odella (Hatfield) Aldridge.

Jim worked in the transportation department of Armco Steel Corp for 40 years, retiring in 1990.

Mr. Aldridge is survived by his wife, Ruby (Brandenburg) Aldridge; sons, Stuart (Karen) Aldridge, David (Jackie) Aldridge, Jay Aldridge and Tom (Valerie) Aldridge; daughter, Janet (Doug) Eastman; step sons, Stephen (Jeanie) Stine and Mark (Sharon) Stine; brother, Kenneth (Eileen) Aldridge; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 10:30 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
