James W. Rhoads

James Rhoads, 90, of Miamisburg, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 21, 2022. He was born in Middletown on November 9, 1932 to parents, James "Pete" and Betty (Elrick) Rhoads.

Jim is survived by his wife of 71 years, Irene Rhoads; daughter, Pamela (Terry) Slifer; son, Michael Rhoads; sister, Sally Utz; four grandchildren, Ricki (Marc) Miller, Timothy (Jennifer) Slifer, Amber Rhoads & Elizabeth Rhoads; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph C. Rhoads; brother, Jackson Rhoads; aunt and uncle, Fay & George Krug; and grandson, Joey Rhoads.

Prayer Service will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
