James William Richmond, 35, of Trenton Ohio/Bozeman Montana, passed away September 5, 2017. James was born August 22, 1982 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to James D. Richmond and Carol Roberts Richmond. James loved to camp, hunt, fish and spend time with family and friends. He loved cooking for others and sharing stories about his many Montana outdoor adventures. His dream was to one day have his own professional fishing show where he could share his love for the outdoors. His passion since the age of 5 was fishing. James had many wonderful memories of both Ohio and Montana where he spent the majority of his childhood. As a young man he played soccer, basketball, golf, and even won championships in tennis while attending Miami University of Ohio. He attended Montana State University but returned to Ohio to finish his degree in Information Technology. He planned to return to Montana after completing his degree, where he always considered home. James was a generous and kind person who will be remembered for his warm smile and hugs. He always wanted others to be happy. He loved his dogs Ginger, Dallas, Allie, and Marley. James is survived by his three sisters Trinette Hjelseth (Richard), Catherine Henley (Thomas), and Rebecca Richmond; his Grandmother Charmaine Richmond; Uncles Greg, Bret, Ken, and Eric; Aunts Debbie, Collette, Lisa and Kim; and 18 cousins. He also has one Niece, Caitlin Hall (Kristopher) and one Nephew, Brandon Hjelseth (Carmen) and a brand new Great-Niece, Skylar Fae Hall. He will be dearly missed by all. In Loving Memory of James W. Richmond, we
will always remember him for the Good Hearted person that he was!
