Jane E. Butts

Jane E. Butts, 73, of Middletown, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born in Londonderry, Ohio on October 25, 1936 to parents William Earl and Sophia (Detty) Pembleton.

Jane worked as a cashier for CVS, retiring in 2004.

Mrs. Butts is survived by her sons, Greg (Becki) Fite and Fred (Connie) Vandermark; daughters, Lynn (Roy) Hawkins and Lori (Tracy) Lovelace; step-daughters, Rebecca (Mark) Fields and Marci Butts; sister, Mary Ruth Gleadall; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Butts in 2003; her parents; two daughters, Connie Jo Vandermark and Karen Knapp-Wagner; and sisters, Ann Noel and Martha May Pembleton.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Furlong, Dr. Voung and Gwynda, the Atrium Medical Center staff, the Middletown Life Squad, and Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Jesse Thornton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
