Janet A. Stibbs

Janet A. Stibbs, 81, of Middletown, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at her home. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on November 1, 1934 to parents Verlin and Madge (Kimbler) Murray.

Janet was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening and traveling.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald Stibbs; daughter, Sherri Powers; sons, Stephen Stibbs & Jeffrey Stibbs; brothers, Verlin (Pauline) Murray Jr. & Cecil (Judy) Murray; sister, Billie (Ron) Gerzema; sister-in-law, Phyllis Murray; and grandchildren, Leah, Donna, Sherri A. & Travis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Odis Murray; and a granddaughter, Wynona.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Ken Fey and Pastor Wayne Keith officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
