Janet Gibbs

Janet A. Gibbs, 75, of Monroe, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at home. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on September 23, 1937 to parents Emmett and Sylvia (Wells) Lewis.

Mrs. Gibbs was an active member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a member of the Middletown and State of Ohio Hall of Fame Bowlers Association. She attended over fifty years of monthly meetings with her Card Club Girls. Her main focus later in life was her grandchildren.

Mrs. Gibbs is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Gibbs; daughter, Terri (Michael) Taulbee, son, Donald Ted (Lora) Gibbs, daughter, Marialice (Dave) Cable; brother, Jack D. (Kathy) Lewis and Grandchildren, Aaron (Lindsey) Taulbee; Rachel (Casey) Wise; Andrew (Lindsey) Taulbee, Jillian Gibbs, Brice Cable, and Reid Cable.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joseph E. Lewis and sister, Mary Alice Cummings.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Rd., Franklin with Reverend Dr. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown
