Janice E. Larocco

Janice E. Larocco, 63, of Springboro, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Middletown on July 6, 1947 to parents John and Margaret (Whiteman) Hopper.

Janice worked as an operator in the telecommunication department of Middletown Regional Hospital and then Atrium Medical Center for 17 years, retiring in 2008. She was very active in the Relay For Life.

Mrs. Larocco is survived by her husband, Anthony V. Larocco; daughter, Lori (Brian) Mueller; sons, Martin P. Hopper and David A. Larocco; sisters, Joan (Michael) Urschel and Gaile (Dan) Susong and granddaughter, Rachel Mueller.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
