Jay Guilfoyle

Andrew "Jay" Guilfoyle, 22, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died Sunday, January 4, 2009. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 31, 1986 to parents Scott and Jill (McMann) Guilfoyle.

Jay graduated December 20, 2008 from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte with his bachelor's degree in marketing. He was working for TIAA-CREF in Charlotte. Jay enjoyed sports, was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, loved his dogs Buck and Dolly and especially loved his family.

He is survived by his mother, Jill (Philip) Alsip; father Scott (Cheri) Guilfoyle; brother, Luke Guilfoyle; sisters, Janna Guilfoyle and Abby Guilfoyle; stepsister, Sarah (Matthew) Jacobs; stepbrother, Joshua Alsip; and grandparents, Ron & Janice McMann, Peggy Berry, and Donald Guilfoyle.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Reverend Jim Kinser officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
