Jean Brandt Bewley, age 90, of Richmond, Virginia passed into eternal life October 23, 2011. She leaves behind her daughter Brenda and son-in-law Tim. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Glenn and her son Glenn. She is survived by her sister Anne May Rentschler of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind six grandchildren, Christie Markfeld, Angela Newton-White, Scott Bewley, Kate Hines, Emily Melton and Greg Bewley. He granddaughters Angela Newton-White and Christie Markfeld were by her side giving her comfort and joy in her last days. She also leaves behind 12 great grandchildren. Jean was born in Hamilton, Ohio and raised in Atlantic City, NJ. She lived her adult life in Middletown, Ohio before moving to Richmond in 2005 to be with her daughter. She retired from Interstate Folding Box, Middletown, Ohio after 28 years. Special thank you to Our Lady of Hope Assisted Living, Richmond, Virginia for so much love and compassion. They made her life complete. Thank you also to Bon Secours Hospice in Richmond. Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
