Jean Buckner

Jean (Lawson) Buckner, 84, of Middletown, died Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on August 17, 1924 to parents Ova and Jennie (Powers) Lawson.

Mrs. Buckner is survived by her son, Stephen (Carol) Buckner; daughters, Gale (Richard) Horn and Renee (Richard) Crowe-Clark; sister, Judy (Paul) Jordan; grandchildren, R. Marc (Sheree) Horn, Stephanie (Seann) Taulbee, Stephanie (Scott) Wheeler, S. Geoffrey Buckner, Destiny (Robert) Crowe and Stephie Dakota Crowe; and great grandchildren, Jordan & Samantha Wheeler, Shannon Horn and Guya & Gabriel Crowe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Buckner in 1975 and her parents.

We all love you and you will be truly missed, but now you walk hand in hand with the Lord and we all will be together soon with our beloved "Momajean".

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Marion Barnes officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
