Jeanette A. Lindsay, 85, of Middletown, died Sunday, July 14, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown on June 7, 1917 to parents Vincenzo and Sarafina (Secundi) DePalma.
Mrs. Lindsay was a loving and devoted mother. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church and Young At Heart. She gave to many charities and volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital and the Middletown Clothing Depo.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Lindsay in 1988; her parents; a brother Anthony DePalma; and sisters Rose Rosati, Stella Costello, Frances Bozzelli, and Rita Zella.
She is survived by five sons, James L. (Joan) Lindsay of Houston, Texas, Jake J. Lindsay of Prescot, Arizona, Joe E. Lindsay of Mixerville, Indiana, David P. (Armelia) Lindsay of Texas City, Texas, and Patrick (Dena) Lindsay of Trenton, Ohio; three daughters Carmen M. Olsen of Memphis, Tennessee, Judi A. (Dutch) Collins of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Janice S. (Brian) Mahany of Williamston, Michigan; one sister Joan DiPasquali; seventeen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Father John Civille will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.
