Jeanne V. Pendery

Jeanne Vandergrift Anderson Pendery, 93, of Monroe, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Wabash, Indiana on April 28, 1920 to parents Clarence and Dollas (Johnson) Vandegrift.

Jeanne worked for the Office of the Cincinnati Presbytery for 10 years retiring in 1979 and was a member of P.E.O. Sorority

Mrs. Pendery is survived by her 3 children, Harriet Green, Philip (Karen) Anderson and Paul (Lynda) Anderson; grandchildren, Lisa (Scott) Grumish, Debbie Weber, Ward (Ashley) Anderson, Bob (Susan) Callen, Chris Anderson and Stephanie (Jason) Spoolstra and 8 great grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Harry Fitch Anderson (1964), second husband, John Pendery (1990); sister, Margaret Wilson; brother, Ward Vandegrift; grandson, Mark Brown.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mary H. Kittredge Chapel at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe with Reverend Patrick Warren officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Chapel. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
