Jeanne Wood

Mildred “Jeanne” Wood, 93, of Middletown, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Middletown on March 2, 1925 to parents James Emerson and Sara Elizabeth (Priest) Laubach.

Jeanne devoted her life to making a loving home for her family. She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed square dancing, golfing and was a member of Wildwood Golf Club.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her sons, Larry (Lois) Wood & Stephen (Sharon) Wood; grandchildren, Sally (Billy) Reel, Dan (Stacey) Wood & Stephanie (Jason) Lawson; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence D. Wood; parents; and brother, Robert (Bette) Laubach.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Ed Bastien officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
