Jerry E. Allen

Jerry E. Allen, 65, of Middletown, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on October 24, 1945 to parents Bernerd Lee and Crystal (Bandy) Allen.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Brenda (Howard) Allen; son, Jerry "Byrd" E. Allen II; daughters, Michele (Brian) Carmack & Thelma (Jason) Lane; stepchildren, Jackie (Mike) Smallwood, Chad (Angie) Slifer, Angie (Phillip) Richmond & Kelli Slifer; sister, Opal (Wilson) Cashill; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Robert Smith and Pastor Chad Slifer officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
