Jimmy D. Williams

Jimmy D. Williams, 88, of Middletown, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Spring Hills Middletown. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on May 22, 1934 to parents, Elza and Nazzie (McIntosh) Williams.

Jimmy graduated from Monroe High School where he was the football quarterback and 3-letter athlete overall. He worked as a roll grinder at Armco Steel Corp for nearly 40 years. Jimmy had formerly been a member of Breiel Church. Still being active in sports, he enjoyed playing golf, softball and bowling.

Jimmy is survived by his four children, Tim (Dottie) Williams, Tad (Marilyn) Williams, Robert Tracy Williams & Ginger (Farid) Amirouche; sister, Sandy Smith; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty J. (Newkirk) Williams; parents; brothers, Lonnie & Bobby Williams; and sister, Sue Rhodus.

Funeral Service will be Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Woodside Cemetery Chapel, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.
