Joe McKinley Snider, 66, of Middletown Ohio, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. Joe was born February 16, 1954, in Hazard, Perry County, Kentucky, to John Kenneth "Pete" Snider and Anna Mae Campbell. Joe attended Franklin Ohio City Schools and Bradenton High School in Florida.

Joe served his country in the United States Air Force in 1972, was a special deputy sheriff in Bartholomew County Indiana, he worked for 23 years at Atlas Roofing in Franklin, and 9 years at Ferco Tech Aerospace in Franklin Ohio. Joe served as Co Chairman and then Chairman of the Middletown Area Memorial Day Association and the Parades in Middletown, Vice Chairman for the Veterans Memorial at Woodside Cemetery, and is a former member of Rolling Thunder Ohio Chapter 11 Dayton, and the VFW Post 3809 Men’s Auxiliary.

Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling with his long-time girlfriend Debra, who he married on October 10, 2020.

Joe is survived by his wife Debra A. Snider, his father John K. Snider of Fostoria, son, Andrew J Westfall of Florida, daughters Geanie (James) Fanjoy of Dayton Ohio, Christina (Michael) Watson of Milford Ohio, son Michael (Kimberly) Morrison of Kansas City Missouri, daughter Michelle Morrison (John Roby) of Monroe Ohio, and Brother John (Chacia) Brandenburg of Middletown, sisters Sue (Ben) Riley of Bedford Kentucky, Diana Warrington of Garden City Michigan, and Peggy Snider Loomis Fostoria Ohio. Grandchildren, Gavin Carmen and Cheyanne Matthew of Mt Orab, Gabriel Carmen, Trinity Carmen of Milford, Kahla Fanjoy, Tayler (Nick) Fantaci, Brendan Fanjoy Dayton Ohio, Alayna Jordan, Adley Morrison and Brantley Michael Lee Morrison all of Kansas City Missouri, great granddaughter Makiya Carmen, Zaniya Carmen, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be Monday November 23, 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Charles Cotton. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
