Joey M. Plumbo

Joey M. Plumbo, 76, of Middletown, died on March 31, 2005, at Willow Knoll Retirement Community. She was born in Middletown, on June 16, 1928 to parents Shelton Emory and Bonnie Lou (Nickell) Brooks.

Joey worked for Sherwin-Williams Paint Store. She was an avid bridge player and loved the outdoors and gardening.

Mrs. Plumbo is survived by one daughter, Diane LeForce of Middletown; one sister, Ina McChesney of Middletown; 3 grandchildren, Stevon S. LeForce, Mandy M. Metzger, and Michelle Plumbo; and great grandchildren, Jacob & Sidney Metzger and Ashley Palmer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Plumbo; a son, Michael J. Plumbo; daughter, Marianne Plumbo; her parents; sister, Freda Lovelace; and brother, Estel Brooks.

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), with Deacon Tom Coyle officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, prior to the service, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
