John C. Patrick

John C. Patrick, 91, of Franklin, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at home. He was born in Lee City, Kentucky on January 3, 1922 to parents Vaughn H. and Volla C. (Rose) Patrick.

Mr. Patrick worked at Armco Steel for thirty years and after he retired was the owner of Franklin Printing Company.

Mr. Patrick is survived by his wife, Rita M. Bierman; sons, Michael (Kathleen) Patrick, Dr. Kenneth (Marilyn) Patrick; daughters, Ellen (Chuck) Schmidt, Roseann (Mark) Julian; brother, Joe (Joyce) Patrick; sister, Vivian Shartzer; sister-in-law, Bea Patrick; grandchildren, Andy, Phil, Sally, Laura, John, Kyle, Matt & Sarah; great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Victoria, Alexandra, Andrew, Audrey, Jenna, Jack, Andrew, Emma & Max; nieces, nephews, loving family & friends; and Lilly & Patty

John was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Chad Patrick; brothers and sisters, Mildred Adams, Gladys Paisley, Thelma Knuckles, Louise Rose, Kenneth Patrick, Vaughn Patrick.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
