John Charles Piedel

John Charles Piedel, 51, of Centerville, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Heartland of Centerville. He was born in Middletown on January 31, 1961 to parents John J. and Mary (Monce) Piedel.

John formerly worked as a manufacturing engineer at Ingersoll Rand, Aeronca and General Electric, retiring in 2006. He attended the Church of the Incarnation in Centerville.

Mr. Piedel is survived by his wife, Susan Shamieh Piedel; three children, Emily Suzanne Piedel, Alexander Jonathan Piedel & Kaitlin Marie Susan Piedel; father, John J. Piedel; brothers, Larry Piedel & Dan Piedel; and sister, Karen (Phil) Crowe.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father Scott Wright as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
