BARTOS, John Cyril, beloved husband of the late Genevieve M.; devoted father of Jon (Janis) Bartos and Cheryl (Carlton) Orebaugh; loving grandfather of Christine Werlein, John Bartos, Elizabeth Beck, and Adam Orebaugh; also survived by three great grandchildren, Jacob Werlein, Aidan Beck, and Brendan Beck, passed away at his home in Monroe, OH, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 2, 2005, at age 88.
Mr. Bartos was formerly of Euclid, Ohio, where he worked for Acme Cleveland Company (formerly National Acme Company) for 40 years, progressing from machinist to sales manager. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Navy, and member of the Euclid Lodge #599 F.& A.M.
John was preceded in death by his special companion, Jacques.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 7, 2005 at 5:00 pm at Monroe Presbyterian Church with Pastor Patrick Warren officiating. Visitation will be Friday, prior to the service, from 4 - 5 pm at the church. Entombment will be Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Knollwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Mayfield Heights, OH.
