John P. Fitzpatrick

John P. Fitzpatrick, 68, of Atwater, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Longmeadow Care Center. He was born in Middletown on February 27, 1955 to parents, James and Geraldine (Hale) Fitzpatrick.

John graduated from Lemon Monroe High School in 1973. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in education from Miami University and taught in Union City, Indiana for 6 years. He then taught at Lebanon High School until his retirement. John was also a realtor with J.W. Fitzpatrick & Associates Realty.

John loved his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Lisa (Prook) Fitzpatrick; sons, Brandon (Elizabeth) Fitzpatrick, Sr., Ryan J. Fitzpatrick & Wyatt A. Fitzpatrick; daughter, Scarlett R. Fitzpatrick; mother, Geraldine Fitzpatrick; step-daughter, Stephanie (Jeremy) Bowen; step-son, Scott (Taylor) Irwin; grandson, Brandon J. Fitzpatrick, Jr.; and step-grandchildren, Thomas Bowen, Ashlynn Bowen & Carter Irwin. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry E. Fitzpatrick.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Woodside Cemetery & Arboretum.
