John L. Honaker, 90, of Clearcreek Township, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Otterbein - Springboro. He was born in Lebanon, Ohio on December 11, 1923 to parents John and Cannie (Evans) Honaker.
Mr. Honaker worked at AK steel for 32 years.
Mr. Honaker is survived by his step daughter, Brenda Charles; grandchildren, Traci Charles & Robin Charles; and a niece, Shirley Spence.
John was preceded in death by his parents, wife of almost 60 years Ruth Honaker and step son, Robert L. Charles.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Linda Jones officiating. Interment will be at Deerfield Cemetery.
