John L. Patterson

John L. Patterson, 64, of Gratis Township, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home. He was born in Middletown on August 6, 1951.

John had worked for Sorg Paper Company for 31 years. Following the closing of that company he was self-employed as a truck driver, retiring in 2015. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his mother, Leola Patterson; 2 sons; 1 daughter; brother, Robert A. (Shirley) Patterson; sister, Cathy J. (Steve) Raney; and several special nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Patterson and brother, Gary Patterson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
