John T. Kittel, 66, of Middletown, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his residence. He was born in Middletown, on April 8, 1940, to Norbert J. and Mary Anna (Klamo) Kittel.
Mr. Kittel worked in sales for AK Steel, retiring in 1992 after 34 years. He was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church, the Knights of Columbus #1610, and was a Fenwick High School Supporter.
John is survived by his wife, Paula S. (Farquis) Kittel; four children, Kymberlee (Eric) Barr of Oxford, Jeffrey (Angel) Kittel of Mechanicsburg, Jacob (Johanna Forbes) Kittel of Germantown, and Christina Kittel of Middletown; a brother, David T. Kittel of Middletown; a sister, Mary T. (Doug) Cox of Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren, Eric Barr II, Taylor Kittel, Jay Hall, Scott Newton, and Ella Kittel; and his lifelong friend, Frank Pressler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, John Kittel Jr. and Justin Kittel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.).
