Johnie Ray Mcalister

Johnie Ray "Big Mac" McAlister, 81, of Ontario, CA, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at home. He was born in Stillwater, Kentucky on September 22, 1933 to parents Howard and Lucy McAlister.

He retired from Armco in 1983 as a Slitter-Shearer, after 30 years of service.

Mr. McAlister is survived by his sons, Scott (Janie) McAlister, John (Sally) McAlister; daughter, Karen (Ken) Gibson; sister, Mable Corene (Harold) Parker; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces & nephews. Johnie is also survived by his California Family, Marie Roe, Sharon Roe, Charlotte (Bob) Trevino and their children & grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nellavene Cottongin.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:30 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:30 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
