Jonathan Marc English

Jonathan Marc English passed away on May 6th at 9:34 PM at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, after being a patient for one week and losing a hard-fought battle.

Marc was born in Cincinnati on June 17, 1978, to parents John & Pat English, and lived in Middletown his entire life. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and Manchester Technical Center in 1997. He went to work immediately for Precision Strip in Middletown, and then worked for Deceuninck International, and Worthington Industries in Monroe. He was most recently employed at PAC Worldwide in Middletown.

Marc loved to draw and would include his friends’ and family’s images in his cartoons, and artwork, sometimes much to their chagrin, as the drawings were sometimes funny, sometimes inappropriate, but never unkind. Marc will be remembered for his faithful friendship and kindness.

In addition to his parents, Marc is survived by his sister, Charlene (Patrick) Newman; brother, Nathan (Allycia) English; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Dylan, Matthew, Grady, Elz, Finnigan, and Molly; and great-nephew, Vincent. Also uncles, Jim Enright, Tim Enright, and Kenny Enright; aunts, Mary Rompala and Alice Hill. Marc was surrounded by a close group of special friends whom he adored, but mostly he loved Kara, and Mary.

He was predeceased by an infant brother, Vincent; and by his paternal grandparents, Erwin and Bridget English of Emporium PA, and maternal grandparents, Charles and Katherine Enright of Middletown.

Mass of Christian Burial for Marc will be held on Saturday, May 13th at 12:00 noon at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark St. in Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the funeral mass from 10:30 AM - 12 noon at the church. Entombment will follow at Woodside Mausoleum. All are invited to a luncheon at Holy Trinity following the cemetery committal.
