Joseph H. Jones

Joseph H. Jones, 91, of Mount Juliet, TN, formerly of Middletown, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Pavilion CPC. He was born in Athens, Illinois on November 28, 1921 to parents Alfred and Margaret (Eden) Jones.

Joe worked as a heavy equipment operator for McGraw Construction for 33 years, retiring in 1979. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Linda (Rick) Ryan & Ken (BeeBee) Jones; four grandchildren, Rex Jaeger, Stephanie (Michael) Sessum, Jason (Elizabeth) Jones & Jacob (Bre) Jones; and seven great grandchildren, Sean Jones, Piper Jones, Martyn Jones, Payton Monti, Brooklynn Sessum, Marshall Sessum & Addisyn Sessum.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 65 years, Mary Ruth (nee Irving) Jones; parents; brothers, Brosee, Alfred "Skeeter", Eric "Buck", Cleo & Tom; and sisters, Helen Nation, Dolly Jones & Pansy Walker.

He left us many memories that we will hold in our hearts forever.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Pavilion CPC, 1406 Medical Center Dr., Lebanon, Tennessee, 37087.
