Josephine Thomas

Josephine Thomas, 89, of Monroe, died Friday, December 13, 2013, at West Chester Medical Center. She was born in Bethel Township, Ohio on July 27, 1924 to parents Charles and Ora (Dwyer) Case.

Josephine was a graduate of Otterbein University and taught home economics at Middletown & Monroe High Schools for 25 years.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Victor Thomas; sons, Daniel (Gail) Thomas & David (Terry) Thomas; daughter, JoEllen Rogers; brothers, William Case & Edward (Diana) Case; sisters, Sharon Reigelsperger & Elizabeth Bunger; and grandchildren, Chad Rogers, Victoria Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Adam Thomas, Shannon Thomas & Lauren Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Ora; step-mother, LaManche Case; sisters, Pauline Neff & Mary Ellen Cotterman; and brothers, David Case & Jerry Case.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Springboro Cemetery.
