Josh Carter, 85, of Middletown, died Saturday, June 29, 2002 at Hawthorn Glen. He was born December 15, 1916 in Monroe, Georgia to parents Thomas and Nicey (Etchison) Carter.<br>Mr. Carter was a foreman at Armco Steel, retiring in 1951. He was one of Jehovah's Witness. He enjoyed his family, his ministry and fishing with friends.<br>Josh is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy A. (Wyatt) Carter, two sons, Clarence "Sonny" Carter of Dayton and Anthony Carter of Los Angeles, a brother, Julius Carter of New Orleans, Louisianna, a sister, Cozy Henry of Springfield, Ohio, twenty two grandchildren, Butch, George, John, Chris, Gail, Lynn, Alice, Sarah, Andren, Shane, Alex, Lance, Clarence, LaKeisha, Deantoinette, Lawrence, Toree, Tryah, Rhondolee, Denise, Sharron and Cheryl Ann, eighteen great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren, two great great great grandchildren beloved nieces, nephews, and many friends.<br>He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jack Carter, daughter, Christal Carter Jefferson and two brothers, T.C. Carter & Luther Carter.<br>Isaac Crandon will officiate the memorial service. <br>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Worldwide Preaching of Jehovah's Witness, 6556 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Middletown, OH 45044.<br>
