Julia A. (Bors) Martin

Julia A. (Bors) Martin, 91, of Madison Township, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Middletown, on January 21, 1917 to parents John and Louisa (Singhoffer) Bors.

Julia was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, John L. Martin; daughters, Anita Moreland, Vicki Redelman and Beth Ann Kauffmann; brothers, James Bors, Rudolph Bors and Fred Bors; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Martin in 1989; her parents; sisters, Mary Lisy and Elizabeth A. Averdick; and brother, John Bors.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice Care of Middletown and Julia's special caregivers Kristi, Marcella, Betty and Linda.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
