Julia Gray

Julia Sora Gray, 100, of Middletown, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at The Knolls of Oxford. She was born in Middletown on November 20, 1911 to parents John and Maria (Mottolla) Sora.

Julia was a member of Holy Family Parish and Holy Family Ladies Society.

Mrs. Gray is survived by her son, Gary Gray & his family; brother, Gerard Sora; sisters, Sister Jean Sora, OSF & Josephine Marconi and granddaughter, Patricia Nielson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Gray in 1997; daughter, Mary Gray Knox in 1982; parents; sisters, Anna Presta, Margaret Stugmyer, Geraldine Brannon, Helen Sora & Ida Marconi and brother, Bernard Sora.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to mass from 10:00 – 11:00 am at church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
