Jylonda Allen, 71, of Madison Twp., died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Gallia County, Ohio on August 1, 1941 to parents Charles Dale and Phyllis (Ruschel) Russell.

Mrs. Allen was retired from Miami University in 1987.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter, Treva (Mark) Carroll; grandson, Mark Alan (Ashly) Carroll; sisters, Bert Lawson, Julia (Kenneth) Knight, Gertie (Harve) Ferrell, Diana (Robert) Hersman, Susie (Elmer) Robinson, Connie Morgan and; special niece, Cathy Phillips and Family; special friend, Kay Colwell.

Jylonda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billie Allen; brothers, Alvin and Don Russell; sister, Ruth Russell.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Henry Clay Colwell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
